1 When and Where will it be happening?

How to get there:  

By Train
Via The Circle Line Or Downtown Line

  • Alight at Bayfront MRT Station (CE1/DT16)
  • Take Exit B and follow the underground linkway
  • Exit and cross the Dragonfly Bridge or Meadow Bridge into Gardens by the Bay 


Via The East-West Line

  • Alight at Tanjong Pagar MRT Station (EW15)
  • Take Exit C and head towards bus stop no. 03223 located at International Plaza, Anson Road
  • Hop onto bus 400 and alight at bus stop no. 03371 along Marina Gardens Drive

2 What is TOUCH Family Festival?

The TOUCH Family Festival (TFF) by TOUCH Community Services is organised in support of National Family Festival 2024 and held at Gardens by The Bay.

A one-day event comprising a Family Walk and carnival, TFF is open to members of the public and beneficiaries of TOUCH. It aims to bring together a Giving Community to make a positive impact in the lives of some 279,000 individuals, including vulnerable families, children, youth, seniors, persons with special and healthcare needs, and caregivers. Participants can walk for a good cause, bond with family and friends, and take part in fun festival activities at the event.

Proceeds from the Family Walk will go towards uplifting the lives of families and individuals served by TOUCH through holistic programmes and services.

3 What should I bring?

Bring your loved ones and a fun-loving attitude!

4 Will there be people available to help take care of my child/children?

Child-care corners and babysitters will not be provided. After all, TOUCH Family Festival is about having fun and spending precious time together with your family and friends! 

5 Must I stay through the whole event?

You may come and go as you wish but we’d love to have you back for more carnival fun! 

6 Can I bring my pet?

Dogs are permitted at the Outdoor Gardens, but not at the Conservatories, OCBC Skyway, gift shops, and the Children's Garden (with the exception of guide dogs). Please keep the dogs on a leash and muzzle dog breeds specified under the Animals & Birds (Dog Licensing & Control) Rules. Do clean up after your dogs and dispose of all waste in a hygienic manner. 

7 What is the minimum age to participate in TOUCH Family Festival?

There is no age restriction and everyone is welcomed at the event! 

8 When is the registration period, and what is the registration fee?

The registration period is from 1 April 2024 to 24 May 2024, 12pm. The registration cost is as per the breakdown below.

9 Can I sign up for the walk on the day of the event? 

We strongly encourage sign-ups to be done during the registration period. 

For online registrations, payment by Mastercard or Visa is accepted. 

11 Are Online Donations Tax-Deductible? 

Yes, donations to TOUCH Community Services Limited are eligible for a 250% tax deduction for the year. To enjoy the tax deduction benefit, donors have to submit their donations to TOUCH by 31 December in order for it to be included in the tax assessment. 

12 How to make an Offline Donation? 

A) Cash/Credit Card 
- Make payment at TOUCH Community Services’ office:

Operating hours: Monday to Friday, 10am to 5pm. 

B) Cheque 
- Make cheque payable to "TOUCH Community Services Limited", indicate ‘TOUCH Family Festival’ at the back of the cheque

13 Where are the start and end points of the walk?

Both the start and end points will be located near Gardens by The Bay, The Meadow. 

14 What time does the walk start?

The walk will start at 5pm.

15 What will happen if I miss my flag off timing?

Participants will be given a 15-minute grace period from the start time, thereafter they will not be allowed to participate in the walk. This is to ensure traffic control and the safety of participants.

16 Is there safety coverage along the walk route? 

There will be first aiders on stand-by at all waterpoints. A safety vehicle will also be on stand-by for any emergency activation. Injured participants will be transported back to the start point or to the hospital where applicable. 

17 What happens if it rains?

The walk will continue if it is a drizzle. In the event of bad weather (with lightning risk), the Organiser reserves the right to delay the commencement of the walk, shorten the walk or modify the walk course. However, should the bad weather persist, the Organiser reserves the right to cancel the walk without any refund of the registration fee. 

18 Where are the refreshments provided for the walkers?

There will be water points located along the route and at the end of the walk. 

19 If I cannot make it for the walk due to unforeseen circumstances, can someone else walk in my place? 

No. Registration for the walk is non-transferable. 

20 Can I get a refund if I fall ill on the event day and am unable to participate?

No, there will be strictly NO refund of registration fee in the event that a participant fails to turn up on the event day. 

21 Do I get a refund if I choose not to participate in the walk after registration? 

No. The registration fee is strictly non-refundable. 

22 Can I participate in the festival activities if I did not sign up for the walk? 

Yes. The festival is open to the public and you are welcome to visit the festival booths. 

23 What will I get for participating in the walk?
